Welcome to The Unbounded Traveler! My name is Sophie Mendel, and I'm a travel, hospitality, and food journalist and copywriter. My work has appeared in The MICHELIN Guide, Four Seasons, Lonely Planet, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide, and more.

An avid traveler, I've visited 55 countries and have lived in five (I'm currently residing in Tel Aviv, Israel); speak three languages (English, Spanish, Hebrew) and am learning two more (French, Arabic); and I have more than seven years of publishing experience.

Traveling is what I know, what I love, and what drives the passion that fuels me to go see what’s out there and discover what the world has to offer.
